New Jersey S3466 allocates $7.5 million annually from constitutionally dedicated CBT revenue for land preservation in the Highlands Region. It extends the expiration date of the special appraisal process for Green Acres and farmland preservation from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2029, for lands in the Highlands Region. The bill also provides aid for watershed lands by distributing funds from the Highlands Protection Fund to eligible municipalities. The funds are to be used for lands identified by the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council.
