Exempts disabled veterans and Purple Heart recipients from municipal parking meter fees when displaying special license plates or placards.

This bill allows disabled veterans and Purple Heart recipients to be exempt from paying municipal parking meter fees when driving or traveling as a passenger in a motor vehicle displaying a special license plate or placard issued by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. The exemption does not apply if the vehicle is parked for more than 24 hours at one location. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is responsible for issuing these special plates or placards.
