Requires tourniquets for law enforcement officers and emergency service vehicles in New Jersey.

New Jersey S3372 mandates that tourniquets be issued to all state, county, and municipal law enforcement officers. Additionally, it requires that every basic life support ambulance and mobility assistance vehicle be equipped with a tourniquet while in-service. The tourniquets for law enforcement officers may be funded by forfeiture funds. The Attorney General and the Commissioner of Health are authorized to create guidelines to implement and enforce these provisions.
