Eliminates fee for special plates for firefighters and members of first aid or rescue squads.

This bill eliminates the fee imposed by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for the issuance of a special license plate for any person who is a compensated, partially compensated, or volunteer member of any fire department in the State or any person who is a compensated, partially compensated, or volunteer member of any first aid or rescue squad in the State. The special plate may be issued for a motor vehicle owned or leased by the person, or owned by the spouse or parent thereof, or owned by a business firm of which the person is the principal owner or stockholder.
