Repeals law prohibiting certain establishments from providing or selling single-use products.
This bill repeals sections 1 through 9 of P.L.2020, c.117, which previously prohibited certain establishments from providing or selling various single-use products, such as plastic carryout bags, paper carryout bags, polystyrene foam service products, and plastic straws, to customers. By repealing this law, stores, food service businesses, food banks, food pantries, and grocery stores would be permitted to provide or sell these single-use products to customers.
