Upgrades certain crimes related to manufacturing firearms from second to first degree in New Jersey.

The bill upgrades the penalty for several firearm-related offenses from second to first degree crimes in New Jersey. Specifically, it increases the severity of crimes involving the purchase of firearm parts to manufacture a firearm without a serial number, the use of a three-dimensional printer to manufacture a firearm, the distribution of digital instructions to manufacture a firearm or certain components using a three-dimensional printer, the manufacture of covert or undetectable firearms, and the transportation of a firearm manufactured without a serial number.
