New Jersey S3219 changes the deadline for the Governor to send the Fiscal Year 2027 budget message to the Legislature. Instead of the fourth Tuesday in February, the Governor must now send it by March 10, 2026. This change applies only to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. The law takes effect immediately.
