New Jersey S3145 provides additional temporary contracting powers to county improvement authorities.

New Jersey S3145 validates certain past agreements, contracts, executed instruments, or actions taken by county improvement authorities in the state. It authorizes a pilot county improvement authority greater flexibility to enter into agreements, contracts, and executed instruments, and to take actions necessary for the authority's purposes. The pilot county improvement authority must submit a final report to the Department of Community Affairs and the Legislature on the benefits and effectiveness of the additional flexibility.
