Establishes an advisory council to oversee revisions of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

The bill creates a New Jersey Student Learning Standards Advisory Council to assist the State Board of Education in reviewing and revising the state's educational standards. The council will consist of 15 members from K-12 education, higher education, business, and include student and parent representatives. Each subcommittee, established for specific subject areas, will review existing standards, collect feedback, and submit revised standards to the council.
