This bill amends New Jersey law to remove an exemption for certain medical procedures from the prohibition on patient referrals to health care services where the referring practitioner has a significant beneficial interest. Specifically, it removes the exemption for "medically-necessary intraoperative monitoring services rendered during a neurosurgical, neurological, or neuro-radiological surgical procedure that is performed in a hospital."
