Introduced Text

New Jersey S2911 authorizes special license plates for holders of the Combat Action Ribbon.

New Jersey S2911 amends the law to allow individuals who have been awarded a Combat Action Ribbon to receive special license plates. Currently, only holders of a Combat Infantryman Badge are eligible for these plates. The plates will bear the words "Combat Infantryman Badge" and depict the Combat Infantryman Badge emblem. The fee for these plates is $15, in addition to other registration fees. The surviving spouse of a former holder of the Combat Infantryman Badge or Combat Action Ribbon can also retain the special plates for use on their vehicle.
