This bill extends the protected tenancy period for certain tenants who are senior citizens and certain tenants with a disability in New Jersey. The protected tenancy period is extended to the lifetime of those tenants who are senior citizens and those tenants with a disability. The bill aims to protect these tenants from forced eviction and displacement, especially in light of rising costs and economic dislocations.
