These notices and pamphlets, created by the Department of Banking and Insurance, must be available at all points of sale and given to customers purchasing insulin prescriptions or those who request them. Insulin manufacturers can opt to be included in these notices and pamphlets by informing the department. The act takes effect six months after enactment, allowing for necessary administrative actions beforehand.
