New Jersey S2881 mandates professional and occupational boards to issue licenses to veterans who have a good standing license or certification from another jurisdiction. This applies to those who received their credentials while serving or after serving in the Armed Forces of the United States or a Reserve component, including the New Jersey National Guard. The applicant must present evidence of an honorable or general, honorable conditions discharge and comply with all other licensure requirements, including any examination.
