"New Jersey Ticket Consumer Choice Act."

Introduced·1/13/26
Introduced Text

New Jersey Ticket Consumer Choice Act allows consumers to opt-out of ticket restrictions on reselling tickets.

The New Jersey Ticket Consumer Choice Act ensures that ticket issuers must offer consumers the option to purchase tickets in a transferable form at the time of initial sale. Issuers can sell tickets through a non-transferable ticketing system only if they offer the transferable option. The bill prohibits any penalty or discrimination against a ticket holder solely because the ticket was resold or because of the specific ticket platform on which the ticket was resold.
