This bill expands eligibility for Military Dependents Scholarships to include students enrolled in approved career and technical education programs. It also extends eligibility to dependents of military members who served in Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and Operation Inherent Resolve. The bill updates the list of qualifying military engagements to include these recent operations. It increases the eligibility period for a Military Dependents Scholarship from 15 years to 21 years for spouses or other eligible dependents.
