Directs DEP to lift conservation restrictions on a property for special needs school expansion.
This bill directs the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to lift conservation restrictions on a specific parcel of real property if it is needed for the physical expansion of an existing school for special needs children. The bill also requires that a new, substantively similar conservation restriction be imposed on another parcel of real property that is at least twice the size of, and located no more than 20 miles from, the original property. The act takes effect immediately.
