Establishes the "New Jersey Reparations Task Force" to study and develop reparations proposals for African-Americans in New Jersey.

The bill establishes the "New Jersey Reparations Task Force" to research and develop reparatory proposals and recommendations to address the generational harms caused by New Jersey's role in America's institution of slavery and its legacy of systemic racial discrimination. The task force will examine the institution of slavery within New Jersey, the extent to which the state and federal government prevented efforts of former enslaved persons and their descendants to economically thrive, and how the injuries resulting from these matters can be reversed.
