Establishes the "New Jersey Reparations Task Force" to study and develop reparations proposals for African-Americans in New Jersey.

The bill establishes the "New Jersey Reparations Task Force" to research and develop reparations proposals for African-Americans in New Jersey. The task force will examine the institution of slavery within New Jersey, the lingering negative effects on living African-Americans, and how New Jersey laws and policies continue to disproportionately affect African-Americans. The task force will also explore how to offer compensation and other forms of rehabilitation or restitution to African descendants.
