Establishes Open Public Records Act Review Committee to evaluate OPRA's implementation and make recommendations.

New Jersey S2829 establishes an 11-member Open Public Records Act Review Committee to examine how the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) is implemented and utilized. The committee will review OPRA's statute, evaluate its impact in light of societal changes, analyze how OPRA requests are balanced with privacy rights, and examine OPRA's use for commercial purposes. The committee will also research complaints about OPRA harassment and consider amendments to OPRA. The committee will report its findings and recommendations to the Legislature and the Governor within one year of its initial meeting.
