Introduced Text

New Jersey S2774 requires local government units to provide opportunities for military- or veteran-owned businesses to supply materials and services.

New Jersey S2774 amends existing law to require local government units receiving funding from the NJ Infrastructure Bank to establish programs offering opportunities for military- or veteran-owned businesses to supply materials and services for projects. This bill supplements existing requirements for affirmative action programs for minority workers and opportunities for socially and economically disadvantaged contractors. The NJ Infrastructure Bank must adopt rules and regulations to enforce these provisions.
