New Jersey S2757 mandates health insurers to cover continuous glucose monitoring systems for glycogen storage disease treatment.

New Jersey S2757 requires health insurers, including hospital, medical, and service corporations, individual and group health insurers, and health maintenance organizations, to cover expenses for continuous glucose monitoring systems prescribed for glycogen storage disease treatment. The benefits must be provided to the same extent as for any other medical condition under the policy. This applies to all health benefits plans delivered, issued, executed, or renewed in the state on or after the effective date of the act.
