Exempts certain motor vehicles from registration fees if owned by specific nutrition programs and nonprofit social service organizations.

New Jersey S2723 amends the motor vehicle registration fee law to exempt certain motor vehicles from fees if owned by local nutrition programs for seniors that are Meals on Wheels America members and certain nonprofit organizations offering social services. These vehicles must not be used for pleasure or hire. The bill allows for special registration certificates and number plates for these vehicles, which can be transferred to another vehicle if the original is no longer used.
