New Jersey S2588 eliminates the fee for re-issuing a motor vehicle title when a lien is removed after the loan is paid off. This applies to individuals who have financed a vehicle and have satisfied the lien. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission will no longer charge a fee for this re-issuance. The act takes effect immediately.
