Permits issuance of motorcycle endorsement to certain out-of-State military personnel.

Introduced·1/13/26

New Jersey S2576 allows out-of-State military personnel, their spouses, and dependents to obtain a motorcycle endorsement for their New Jersey.

New Jersey S2576 permits the issuance of a motorcycle endorsement to certain out-of-State military personnel, their spouses, and dependents. The Chief Administrator of the Motor Vehicle Commission will issue the endorsement by mail if the individual pays the required fee and provides documentation of completing an approved Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Education Course and their assignment outside of New Jersey. This act aims to facilitate the process for military personnel serving outside the state, allowing them to obtain the endorsement without returning to New Jersey.
