Classifies an act of domestic violence or child endangerment committed during a state of emergency one degree higher than the underlying offense. This applies if the victim shows injury, a warrant is in effect, an existing order is violated, or a weapon is suspected. The prosecutor has discretion to elevate the offense during national, state, or county emergencies. The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
