This bill designates State Highway Route 10 as the "American Legion Memorial Highway" to honor the American Legion's service during World War I and ongoing support for veterans and service members. The Commissioner of Transportation is authorized to accept private funding for signs bearing the designation. Public funds are not to be used for producing, purchasing, erecting, or maintaining these signs. The act takes effect immediately.
