Disqualifies person with four or more motor vehicle points from operating school bus for one year.
This bill prohibits a person from obtaining or maintaining a school bus endorsement to drive a school bus in the State for one year, following the date of the last conviction, if the person has accumulated four or more current motor vehicle points as a result of a conviction of one or more violations of the motor vehicle laws of this State or any other jurisdiction. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall suspend the school bus endorsement and notify the Commissioner of Education, who in turn must notify the employing board of education or contractor.
