New Jersey S2432 allows individuals who passed a civil service exam for police officer or firefighter positions but were unable to complete employment requirements due to military service to have their names placed on a subsequent eligible list. This privilege applies to Guardsmen and Reservists who served at least 30 days of continuous active duty after September 11, 2001, and before the termination of Operation Enduring Freedom.
