New Jersey S242 requires the Board of Public Utilities to allow low- and moderate-income residential customers to self-attest to income for community.

New Jersey S242 mandates the Board of Public Utilities to adopt rules and regulations allowing low- and moderate-income residential customers to self-attest to their income for participation in community solar programs. This act supplements existing rules and regulations under P.L.2018, c.17. The Board of Public Utilities may take anticipatory administrative action for the implementation of this act.
