New Jersey S2363 permits the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMAVA) to accept gifts, grants, and donations from the public and private sectors for the purpose of creating public service announcements aimed at preventing veteran suicide. These funds will be deposited into a special nonlapsing fund maintained by the State Treasurer, ensuring the money is used exclusively for this cause. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
