Introduced Text

New Jersey S2323 prohibits motor vehicle liability insurance policies from restricting full payment of recovery amounts under a covered person's.

New Jersey S2323 amends existing law to prohibit motor vehicle liability insurance policies from restricting the full payment of recovery amounts under a covered person's policy. Specifically, the bill ensures that the amount recovered by an insured person cannot be limited to less than the maximum recovery limit provided in the policy for bodily injury liability, property damage liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, and medical payments coverage. This applies to all insured persons, whether they are named insureds or permissive users under the policy.
