Establishes process to bar certain health care providers from receiving reimbursement under PIP.

The bill establishes a process for barring certain health care providers from receiving reimbursement under personal injury protection (PIP) coverage. The Commissioner of Banking and Insurance, in consultation with other officials, will investigate providers suspected of professional misconduct, incompetence, or negligence. The commissioner can temporarily suspend or bar providers from receiving reimbursement. Barred providers are prohibited from treating patients seeking PIP coverage. The commissioner must compile a list of barred providers and make it publicly available.
