New Jersey S2305 provides a tax credit of up to $500 for spouses of military servicemembers for professional relicensing fees incurred upon.

New Jersey S2305 provides a gross income tax credit, up to $500, for spouses of military servicemembers who incur professional relicensing fees upon relocating to the state. The credit applies to fees incurred during the period starting from the date the permanent change of station order is issued and ending on the first day of the thirteenth month following the reporting date. The Director of the Division of Taxation is required to issue forms and procedures to enable taxpayers to verify their eligibility for the credit.
