New Jersey S2214 mandates that ultrasounds on pregnant women in limited service pregnancy centers be performed by licensed health care professionals.

New Jersey S2214 requires that any ultrasound on a pregnant woman in a limited service pregnancy center be conducted by a health care professional licensed to perform ultrasounds. A "limited service pregnancy center" is defined as an organization providing pregnancy counseling or information but not performing abortions or making referrals to abortion providers, and not licensed or certified to provide medical or health care services.
