Establishes a Broadband Assistance Office in the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to promote broadband access.

The bill establishes a Broadband Assistance Office within the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to formulate and execute a comprehensive statewide policy fostering the provision of wired broadband service. The office is tasked with developing, promoting, coordinating, overseeing, and approving broadband projects, including those developed under public-private partnership agreements. It will also identify and secure funding from various sources to support broadband projects in underserved communities.
