New Jersey Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council to prepare report on suicide prevention instruction in public schools.

This bill requires the New Jersey Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council to prepare a report on suicide prevention instruction in public schools. The report must include identifying the current instruction, reviewing its effectiveness, identifying at-risk students, and identifying evidence-based prevention programs. The council may consult with the Department of Health, the Department of Education, and the Department of Children and Families, and request support from the Department of Children and Families.
