Establishes a three-year "Male Teachers of Color Mentorship Pilot Program" in New Jersey.

The bill establishes a three-year "Male Teachers of Color Mentorship Pilot Program" in New Jersey, to be developed and operated by the Commissioner of Education. The program aims to create mentoring relationships between male students of color enrolled in educator preparation programs at institutions of higher education and male teachers of color employed by school districts, charter schools, or renaissance school projects. The commissioner will select 19 male students of color and 19 male teachers of color to participate in the pilot program.
