New Jersey S2171 prohibits state dealings with businesses linked to Azerbaijan.

New Jersey S2171 prohibits state agencies, local units, and educational institutions from contracting with businesses associated with Azerbaijan. Businesses on a list compiled by the Department of the Treasury are barred from state contracts, tax clearances, economic development subsidies, and property tax abatements. The bill also restricts state investments in companies with ties to Azerbaijan. The prohibitions remain in effect until the release of detained economist Dr. Gubad Ibadoghlu.
