Introduced Text

New Jersey S210 provides tax credits for businesses purchasing electric vehicle charging stations and commercial zero emission vehicles.

New Jersey S210 provides corporation business tax and gross income tax credits for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charging stations and for commercial zero emission vehicle fleet conversions. The credit for electric vehicle charging stations is capped at 50% of the amount paid or $1,000 per station, whichever is less. The credit for commercial zero emission vehicles is based on the difference in cost compared to a comparable conventionally fueled vehicle, with caps of $25,000, $50,000, or $100,000 depending on the vehicle's weight.
