New Jersey S206 requires each basic life support ambulance and volunteer first aid, rescue, and ambulance squad vehicle to be equipped with a securely locked box or container for storing firearms. The firearm must be stored in this locked box or container when a person in possession of the firearm is transported in the ambulance. The Commissioner of Health is authorized to create rules and regulations to implement this law.
