Revises the Paratransit Services Improvement Act to transfer $6 million from NJT to DHS for a pilot program.

The bill revises the Paratransit Services Improvement Act, transferring $6 million from the New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJT) to the Division of Developmental Disabilities within the Department of Human Services (DHS). The Division of Developmental Disabilities will develop a paratransit best practices training module, which includes a software package for trip generation, scheduling, and driver safety. Qualified community organizations can submit proposals for developing the training module. The selected organization will establish the module within 180 days of selection.
