New Jersey S1957 prohibits teaching staff members from inputting information and conversations regarding individually identifiable health information into third party software applications managed by entities engaging in partisan political activity. This includes genetic or vaccination information that identifies or could reasonably be used to identify a student or family members. The bill defines "partisan political activity" as campaigning, fundraising, and electioneering on behalf of candidates or political parties.
