Establishes a counseling program for family members of active duty military members and disabled veterans.
New Jersey S1905 establishes a counseling program for eligible family members of active duty military members and disabled veterans. The Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs, in consultation with the Department of Human Services, will develop and maintain a list of mental health care professionals available for the program. The program will reimburse mental health care professionals for up to 10 counseling sessions per eligible family member per year, either in person or via telehealth.
