Introduced Text

New Jersey S1901 makes commercial farms eligible for incentives from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.

New Jersey S1901 allows commercial farms to apply for and receive incentives from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program. The Board of Public Utilities, in consultation with the Department of Agriculture, must establish a program to encourage or assist commercial farm owners in conducting energy audits. These audits identify current energy use and conservation measures to maximize energy savings and efficiency. The bill also requires the Board of Public Utilities to publish available incentives and program information on its website.
