Expands the Commission on Human Trafficking to promote coordinated law enforcement response to human trafficking.

This bill expands the function of the Commission on Human Trafficking to include promoting a coordinated intergovernmental law enforcement response to human trafficking. The commission will facilitate investigations and prosecutions of human trafficking cases by coordinating state and local law enforcement agencies. Federal Bureau of Justice Assistance funding may be available for these efforts. The commission will also develop mechanisms to promote public awareness of human trafficking, victim remedies, and services.
