New Jersey S1750 mandates disability law and etiquette training for state employees.

New Jersey S1750 requires the State Treasurer, in consultation with the Commissioner of Human Services, to develop a training program for state employees on disability law and etiquette. The training must cover the Americans with Disabilities Act, methods to accommodate individuals with disabilities, and proper etiquette for interactions. State employers must implement the training within a year of the bill's effective date, with existing employees required to complete it within 180 days and biennially thereafter. New hires must complete the training within 180 days of employment.
