New Jersey S169 requires professional boards to issue licenses to veterans with credentials from another jurisdiction.

New Jersey S169 mandates that professional and occupational boards issue licenses, certificates, or certifications to veterans who present evidence of an honorably discharged status, a license in good standing from another jurisdiction, and compliance with all other licensure requirements. The bill also requires each board to provide methods of evaluating equivalent training, education, or experience obtained towards meeting the requirements for the issuance of a license, certificate, or certification.
