Allows health care professionals outside New Jersey to provide telemedicine and telehealth services to New Jersey residents.

This bill allows health care professionals located outside New Jersey to provide services to New Jersey residents using telemedicine and telehealth. Such providers must be licensed or certified in New Jersey and comply with state regulations. They must also meet the same standard of care as in-person services. The bill requires health care providers to maintain patient records and comply with confidentiality laws. It also allows for the use of asynchronous store-and-forward technology and mandates that patients' medical information be made available to them upon request.
