This bill creates a new license allowing wineries in New Jersey and out-of-State wineries that produce more than 250,000 gallons of wine per year to directly ship wine to consumers. The license permits the shipment of up to 12 cases of wine per year, subject to regulation, to any person over 21 years of age for personal consumption and not for resale. Each case of wine must not exceed a maximum of nine liters. The annual fee for this license is $938, and a copy of the original invoice must be available for inspection by authorized personnel for a minimum of three years at the winery premises.
