Eliminates high school graduation proficiency test in New Jersey.

New Jersey S1562 eliminates the requirement for a high school graduation proficiency test. The bill removes the need for students to achieve satisfactory performance on a Statewide proficiency test as part of the graduation standards. It also repeals sections of law that mandate the State to administer a graduation proficiency test to 11th and certain 12th grade students. Additionally, the bill clarifies that students participating in the State Seal of Biliteracy program are not required to take a State graduation proficiency test as a condition of graduation.
